Greetings,

I am struggling to create a Ring Group that will fail over to a "shared" voicemail box on a CX-II running 10.2.2.10. When I say "shared" I simply mean that the five members of the Ring Group would all have access to this voicemail box which would be separate from each of their own. Searching these forums found a few results, and those that seemed related were typically directed to

This FAQ is then subdivided in to three more FAQs and it wasn't clear to me which parts I actually need/want. I like to think I am a technical person in general but admit that I have little experience with Mitel switches and the forms used to manage these switches seem extremely scattered to me. Is there anyone who may be able to dumb down the steps (or at least a list of required forms) for a simpleton like myself?

HF,
Chief.

I will assume that you require a message waiting indicator.

DID = 1000
Ring Group DN = 1000
Phantom Key Appearance = 1001 (for Mailbox and lamp)
Nametag Huntgroup = *1001
Mailbox for messages = 1001
Message notification for MB = (Key programmed as needed)
Set overflow for RG to *1001
Set Routing of *1001 to go directly to VM

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

As above,, I use this config all the time and it works perfectly!
