ring down circuit

On a Merlin Magix there is a ring down circuit that when the button is pressed it rings on the speaker, but doesnt ring on the phone in the control room. Bellsouth checked the circuit and said all if fine.
This is my first experirnce with this and am kinda stumped as to what to look for. Any help is appreciated.

Need more info - is this really going to a MAGIX Set?

-OR- is this a PRIVATE LINE from BELL?

Where does it originate?

it turns out that I didn't really understand what I was being told verses what I was looking at. I couldn't understand how the Bell line fit in the equation at all, but the customer instisted that it was a Bell line that was being used.

Needless to say, having never seen one I was confused. When I got the customer to leave me alone in the phone room for a few minuted I figured it out.

The Avaya Door entry/paging controller had failed. That's it.
I didn't have one, but ordered it overnight, should be here today.

If for some reason this doesn't fix it, I'll let you know.
