Is there a way to program a single line set (on a Legend or Magix) to automatically call another extension or outside telephone number when the handset is lifted. Please help?

I have never tried it, but I don't see why one of the viking type auto dialers shouldn't work through a single line port.

In SYS PROGRAM, EXTENSIONS, there is a selection on the 3rd page for HOTLINE. You define the station and its termination point there. It will ring down when the handset is lifted.

it will not ring unless you program the first speedial position for the set.
