Ring Down Circuit Setup/Configuration?

Is it possible to setup an 5.2 or 6.0 system to integrate Ring Down circuits for Trader/Turrent use?

I just need a quick band-aid for a few weeks to months.

is your turret system pulling dial tone from the Avaya? How are they connected?

We used DS1FD's to connect our Avaya to our turret system. Being analog connections, you can set a hot line destination so that as soon as the trader goes off hook on that line, it dials the destination. Not as fast as a true ring-down, but it works.

Other alternative is to just program a speed-dial on the turret.

What release are you running?

We use these here. The provider installs a DS1 channel bank and they get cross connected to CO board ports for each channel. Then you setup a trunk group for each ARD and an analog extension. I can send you screen shots if you'd like if you'll be connecting that way.
