Ring Delay and Coverage Appearance

Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible to increase the rings on a coverage appearance.

The company owner's phone has been set up to ring at his secretary's phone using coverage appearance and delayed ring at her phone. However, after two rings the call goes back to the owner's voicemail and I was wondering if it would be possible to increase the rings at her phone before it went back to the owner's voicemail.

Second, is it possible to set up a two of a user's incoming/outgoing lines on the secretary's phone as coverage appearance?

1) yes you can increase the time, the time you would want to increase would be the No Answer time on his User Tab.

2)not exactly sure what you are asking, but it sounds like you are wanting Bridged Appearances on the secretarys phone.
 
Hello,

Here's how the current setup works:

An incoming call for the owner rings once on his phone and if he does not pick up, the call rings simultaneously on his and his secretary's line twice before it gets routed to his voicemail.
What we would like to do is to increase the number of rings on his secretary's line, for his calls, for an extra 2 rings (for a total of 4 rings), before the calls gets routed to his voicemail.

you can play with the No answer timer and the coverage timer on the bosses user and that will help.

If you want to increase the ring time then you need to increase the no answer time in the phone that is covered and not the phone with a coverage button

You can not have a coverage button on a line
You can have a line appearance but that is it
