Ring+Appear or Ring Only?

I have several admins who we have their bosses TL's assigned as ring+appear on their phone; When they are on the phone, their bosses line goes directly to their voicemail ... is there someway to get around this?

I want a visable appearance when a call in coming to someone other than them ...
 
Take a look to Services>Telephony>Sets>Capabilities, I think that you will find that a Forwarding to the voice mail in Busy mode is enabled, so when these devices are busy and a second call comes to them, it will go straight to their mailbox.
 
but I want the secretary's calls to goto voicemail ... just not the additional lines going to her voicemail.
 
you could try answer dn instead of appearance of target line.
 
On the Boss's phone remove Forward to Vmail on Busy not the Sect. Phone.
 
Answer DN worked like a charm -- is there any way to make the Caller ID info push through? All I see is Linexxx>JOHN ...
