Hello,
ARCserve 9.01 needs for the System Account some rights:
3 Group Rights: Administrators, Backup Operator, Domain Admin
3 Advanced Rights: Act as part of operating system, Log on locally, Log on as a service
Ok - but in Windows2003 the right "Domain Admin" is even bigger then under NT4.0.
The User account for ours Operators didnt contain the Right Domain Admin.
Starting ARCserve with this Account, ARCserve knows that the Right is missing an didnt
show the Job Queue, didnt show the Job Detail and the Job Log.
Just the Activity Log is right ...
Question: How to creat an User-account without Domain Admin, but ARCserve have to work well.
On Windows2003 with AD (no more local Admin)
The ARCserve System Account Password (with Domain Admin and the other Rights) is "in the Safe"
Thanx and Greetings ...
Peter
