Rights on Exch2K

I have an Exchang 2K server, running on Win2K. I am using BE 8.0 to backup our files. I have the problem that I allways get an access denied error on the information store and a "could not attach" when trying to select the mailboxes. However I have created a user and mailbox called 'backup' It has administrator rights.

Can anyone point me out where in the Exchange System Manager I have to apply security?
