Hello,

We recently moved our offices and since the move our Rightfax (Using a brooktrout tr1034) has been having issues intergrating into our new CS1000M via TIE T1 (robbit)but it worked perfectly at our old office on our 81c.

The loop comes up no problem, my rightfax jobs start no problem; however, my rightfax application log keeps showing messages about "No dialtone" on multiple of my channels and my ports go into an unavailable state on Rightfax but still show idle on the PBX. After x amount of time the channels go idle again on rightfax and jobs resume using those ports. The server works, fax are being sent and received but again the ports keep going unavailable on me which causes slowness in our jobs transmitting.

Here is my config.

Any direction would be great, my inter-connect and Rightfax can't figure this out.

try ldta in cls on ports ...worked for us with same issue

remove the trmb, and in 96 stat serv.. toggle service msgs to see if they are in the wronge state for the app..

since your not likely to trmb from that app, it can cause problems..

another possible mistake.. supn yes.. means supervision will be provided, no at that prompt request the trunk to look at the 81 for supervision, not the far end app.. 4 wire eam should not hang with supn no

Hi

I cannot add ldta to the CLS on those ports, gives me SCH0341

unable to match input field with stored mnemonics.

????

We have an 81C tied to a Right Fax server and I compared our programming to yours in the PBX and it is identical with the exception of some timer prompts.

You may have changed those in your troubleshooting but if not, you might default them back and try it.

War Eagle!!

LDTA is for analog station ports, not trunk ports.

War Eagle!!

Good observation, let me change those and see what happened.

Thanks!

sorry bout that we using analog ports so ldta not app
sounds like a glare issue..change route to RRB it could be work around allowing ports to clear or breakdown properly before picked again..other suggestions will fix real issue

Found the problem

On the Route these setting which refers to near/far end disconnect needed to be changed.

FEDC ETH Now ORG

DLTN YES Now NO

Thanks for everyones input.

To my surprise I looked at this again today and I'm still having the same problems as i was originally even though I changed the route, still getting many errors in my application log that says no dialtone.....looks like I've hit another wall..any other advise?

I was wondering how the changes you posted above fixed the issue. All of the T1s we have to RightFax servers have NEDC and FEDC set to ETH. Based on your printed posts of the route and trunks above and the troubleshooting I have done in the past, I think the problem is in your RightFax equipment.

War Eagle!!

Yeah, it could very well be, just very hard to say where the problem is at this point, I'm still not confident that it's not the PBX as this rightfax worked fine at our old office, it's just ever since we moved it here that it's started acting up.

I ordered a proper T1 cable as we are currently just using an ethernet cable and rightfax tells me that perhaps the cable is causing problem; even though we had an ethernet cable at the old office and it was working fine there...
