Does anyone know how I can configure Rightfax so that more than one user can share one number? Like 4 people sharing one number in a department.

I am not sure how right fax works in this case but if you are emailing the faxes out to the users just set up a distibution list and put those people in it and send it to everyone.

lkrull,
You can accomplish this by creating a Distribution List within Exchange and adding all of your group members to that Distribution List. Once the list has been created and populated.....look at the alias and put that in the DN= section of the RightFax new user configuration.

This should deliver the fax to that distribution list and then distriubte that fax to those end-users.

Also...if those users are located near each other (physically)....you can put a printer near their offices and have the fax go to the printer.

Hope that helps.

What are you trying to achieve? All people getting the same fax or distributing faxes between the users?

You could look at the groups function of rightfax.

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.

Yes I would like a group of say 3 people to get the same fax. Example, I have Rightfax Client installed on all 3 machines and I want all 3 users to get the same fax number. Is that possible?

Enigma99 is right. But if you didn't have Exchange server or an email server with a distribution list, you can create a fax mailbox that's assigned the shared fax number. This is your group mailbox. Then make a new fax group and make these user's fax mailboxes members of that group. In the group mailbox, using EFM admin util, set Auto Receive 's Automatic Forwarding to use "Network Recipient" and type the group name in the User field. Now, a fax received by the group mailbox, copies everyone belonging to that group.
