Hi Group,
I have created a Text Marquee in Flash. However it moves across the screen from left to right. I want it to scroll from right to left. What settings do I need to change.
Also how do I speed up the scrolling of the text?

TIA
Jackie

you will have to show some code so we can say what needs to be changed.

These are the instructions I followed... On the web site, the text scrolls faster than my example.

1. Open a new image and set the image to 20 high by 400 wide

2. Select the Type tool. Type in a long text statement that you want to scroll, in the font you want at 12 pt, bold. The example here will be "The Weather is hot and muggy in the summer but cold and dry in the winter." Use the arrow tool to move this text to the right of the stage.

3. Click on frame 200 and hit your F6 key to insert a keyframe. Use your arrow tool on frame 100 to move your text to the left of he stage, but at the same horizontal location.

4. Click back on frame 1. Open your Frame panel and select tweening = motion.

5. Play your movie.

to increase the speed reduce the number of frames.

to reverse direction reverse the instructions in steps 2 and 3.
