In doing your "self examination", have you first ruled out the "hardware" problem possibility - by borrowing someone's mouse ?
If the other mouse works properly, then can you be more specific in terms of what "state" your screen is in when the right-button won't work ?
In reviewing what I posted, I just "had" to make the obvious correction - even though you knew what I meant.
Naturally if the other mouse works "properly", then it means the problem lies with your mouse being defective.
Soooo, if the other mouse does NOT work, then... this suggests there could be something wrong with the "state" of your Excel worksheet. But, then again, it could be a mouse software setting, or a problem with the mouse software - that might require re-installation of the mouse software.
Sometimes, however, just re-booting will "clear" whatever "glitch" has been caused in the PC's memory.
