Right clicking causes Symantec installer to start.

When I right click on anything the Symantec installer starts, if I cancel it a few times, it gives me the drop list as it should. If I let it continue , it says it can find the proper file.

Any ideas how I can fix this?

Those are the symptoms of a broken installation, and leftovers in the registry.

Do you have something like registry mechanics?

I do not have any sort of registry cleaner. But I can re-install this evening and see if that fixes the problem.

I had this problem ages ago i i'm pretty sure the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility sorted it.
