So if you right click and delete a contact from your drop down list in the Address book, it doesnt delete the contact but it gets rid of it from your drop down list.. How would one get that back if you wanted it populated in there? Thanks for any insight!

Where are you right clicking on it - when you are in the TO: line? If so, send an email to that person and it will be added back to the nickname file.

Plan for performance, and capacity takes care of itself. Plan for capacity, and suffer poor performance.

Actually I am talking about when you actually open your address book, then from the drop down menu that houses your "All Rooms" "All Users", etc, when you select an Address Book that you have manually created and placed contacts in, when you right click the name from that list it gives you the option to "Properties", "Delete", "Add to Contacts", "New Entry". If you select "Delete" and click "Ok", it will get rid of that contact from this list, but if you navigate to your address books in Outlook you will find that the contact is not deleted from this list. Is this by design and if so, how would you get that contact back into your drop down list.

Thanks!

Funny, the contact I deleted just had the contact information removed. The address card still existed, just stripped of any contact information that previously existed. As for getting it back, the copy that I created in another folder was able to be dragged back in. If you lost the information, you may just have to re-enter it. It wasn't even in the Recover Deleted Items area. That is kind of strange.

Best bet... re-key the info if you've got it, otherwise...
Don't Do it again...
