Hello,
I have a Dell server that is running RHEL6.1 64bit & I have installed Oracle 11.2.0.2 64 Server on it. When I try to create a simple database it fails almost straight away with the following error:-
ORA-04031: unable to allocate 3346464 bytes of shared memory ("shared pool","unknown object","sga heap(1,0)","dbwriter coalesce buffer")
Any advice on how I can resolve this issue and create a database?
On our RHEL5.7 servers I'm able to create 11.2.0.2 databases with no issues what so ever, so I'm thinking it might be RHEL6.1?
Cheers
Nick
