RHEL 5.4 and Attansic Technology Ethernet Controller (atl1 module)

I have tried to compile atl1 ethernet driver but didn't work and also to install dkms, dkms-atl1 rpm packages. It failed to bring up eth0.
Any suggestion to make it works ?
I have searched from many linux forum.
Thanks.
