Setup:
Dell poweredge 2550 2x 1.2ghz PIII
RHAS 2.1 2.4.9-e.38smp
1 Emulex LP850
Dell poweredge 1500sc 2x 1.2ghz PIII
RHAS 2.1 2.4.9-e.38smp
1 Emulex LP850
DG/EMC FC5600 10x36GB
1 r5 lun 0 with 0_0-0_4 -c rw
Systems are setup with only the lpfcdd scsi drive, no ip configured for storage. Both nodes recognize the san lun0 as /dev/sdb, on which i configured 1 ext2 primary partition of 20gb. mounted to both nodes under /mnt01 - the problem that i'm having is when one node writes to the san, the other node does not see the change. if i unmount and remount /dev/sdb1 it may see the change but commonly gets i/o errors reading the files.
Both lp850's are at the latest firmware and all default values. Latest driver loaded on both nodes.
HELP!
ps, i have not emc software so i'm doing all san config from the fcli> prompt
