rh9 out of the box smtp port closed

Hi, I just installed rh 9, and turned of sendmail and turned on postfix. For some reason smtp doesn't work. The port is closed (nmap) and I don't see any of the usual smtp processes. How do I "turn on" smtp.

Also, auth fails using pop3 and outlook express. Any help with that issue is also much appreciated

looking closer I see that there is no "/usr/libexec/postfix/master" process running like there should be. So the real question is, how do I start postfix? webmin says it's running, but I guess not? any ideas?

for those of you who care, my inet_interfaces var in main.cf was set to localhost, I changed it to all and things worked like a dream.

I think things are also easier if you use the redhat-switch-mail or whatever it's called to switch from sendmail to postfix.
