I'm preping a business card in InDesign.
I've used the 'file'>'print'>'printer'>'adobe PDF' option for creating a PDF ready for printing.
However after ajusting the 'output'>'colour' option and choosing 'composite CMYK' then hitting the print button, the printer rang me and said that the file was in RGB. Even though I had been working in CMYK since I had been editing the Image in PhotoShop.
I asked him how he checked that he told me he had a plugin for Acrobat called 'Quite Revealing." and low and behold he was right when i installed this plugin and checked it the document came up as 'special colours' which basically meant RGB.
What I would like to know is how to use this 'print'>'adobe PDF' method to create a PDF that comes up as CMYK using this plugin.
I know it's a big ask but can anyone help?
