There are two terminals in the restaurant, one of which has had problems before, and had them consistently. The other one has been fine until 2 days ago. It began rebooting on its own, which I was somehow able to fix, not sure what exactly produced results. Now upon startup, it goes through finding master terminal, stops at 15, looks for fileserver, which stays at 0, and the a message appears..."RFS ERROR: Access is Denied. Remote Machine: ALOHABOH." I have tried going into manager and disabling RFS, and tried using it under the local system account rather than a specific user account. Nothing has worked yet.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!!

You don't need RFS with 2 terminals. Disable the service.

I disabled the service from the BOH, and its still coming up with the same error message. Is there something I need to do on the terminal to complete this process...?

Thanks!

If the terminal is outputting a RFS error before loading the data files from the Alohaboh it will not see that you disabled RFS in Aloha Manager I'm thinking. Maybe try disabling the RFS service on the terminals, make sure it is disabled on the server and unflagged in Aloha Manager??

I've refreshed the system, and still the same error. I also disabled the service on the terminals, but then an error message appeared about it being disabled and still would not start...

Thanks you all for your help, any other ideas?

you may have to manually copy the Data folder from the file server to the terminals. If you do rename the existing data foler on the terminals first...
