RFP Help Requested 1

I have to come up with an RFP for the creation of software to use with our new Cannon 3300i scanner/printer/fax. We want to become more or less paperless. We also have custom application that it must integrate with.
Does anyone have a good example or good resource for me to get started?

All RFPs deal with two setss of issues:

1. The product or service definition
2. The terms and conditions

The first part is trivially easy: state the objectives and how they will be measured. In your case, define the custom app inputs and outputs that must be handled.
