Hi all,
I have a site with 8 RFP 32 IP dect base stations. The customer is extending into an adjacent building and wants to extend the base station range. However we are unable to source more base stations from Mitel due to end of life.
I know these are still widely used on other systems and have procured one for testing. The example I have is an RFP L32 IP.
I have plugged it in and can see it grab the firmware from a tftp server, however as it starts to flash green, I see another request for firmware which is rejected and then the four LED's light up red.
The OMM sees the device and registers the ip address from it, but it does not go active.
Has anyone else tried this? I am thinking it may be a bootstrap issue as the new RFP probably has updated components internally.
The OMM is version 2 and the new RFP would probably plug into a system now on 4.
Thanks
Ian
