I will try to be as detailed as possible....
Basically, Windows 2000 Pro is blocking my REXEC attempts that I am sending from a UNIX (AIX) box. Win2k in it's initial (unpatched) state allows the connection just fine - but the windows box has been patched up to SP3 and is now refusing the connection.
I have found numerous MS Knowledge Base articles on the subject and have discovered that Uncle Bill is blocking these attempted UNIX connections by design
My question is.... has anybody found a work around for this?
I have a Korn shell script that calls a PB application located on that Windows 2000 Pro box. Unfortunately it MUST start from the UNIX machine. I realize I could investigate 'PB for UNIX' for future implementation - but until that time - I am desperate for a way around this obstacle.
Thnx.
