rexec from a Win2K Server to AIX 2

Hi, I´m trying to run rexec from an Win2k Server to AIX.
rexec host -l login -p password unix_command

But, nothing happens!

If I try from a Win2k server to a SCO Open Server ou HP-UX it works.
And if a run the same command from a Win XP to AIX, SCO or HP it works.

Hi,
check ou the /etc/inetd.conf file. it should contain a line like:

exec stream tcp6 nowait root /usr/sbin/rexecd rexecd

This line (exec ...) should be uncommented. If it is not the case, then uncomment it and run refresh -s inetd

Add -c flag infront of rexecd in inetd.conf file,and then run refresh -s inetd command.

With the -c flag in /etc/inetd.conf file and refresh -s inetd, it works.
