Revive NT4 after dual boot install of 2K

NT4 SP4 PDC had custom Foxpro DB running on it. Client decided to buy and install W2K on same box as dual boot. W2K boots fine, but NT4 starts booting like 2K (b&W screen with press F8, etc.) then Blue screens with IO1_initialization_Failed 0x00000069.

First thought maybe the ntfs.sys file was pre SP4, but replacing that didn't change anything.

Next hope was to start with fresh drive and fresh install of NT4 with FAT, then copied the WINNT folder from original drive to new and altered the boot.ini to let me choose from dual. Fresh boots fine, but one I forklifted over loads right up until ntfs.sys and bang! auto restart!

Next booted into fresh and converted to NTFS and same effect: right up to ntfs.sys and bang!

Next copied over ntfs.sys from fresh to one I need, but still the same.

I need to get the application on it running for a client's court case and he does not have the install CDs and it was customized over the period of 5 years with no backup.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
