I have a form with a Record ID (primary key)(auto number) a date box, details box (text) and several check boxes (yes/no). I would like to be able to click on a command button which will clear the check boxes and move the record to the first position. Could someone help me with this? I am very new at this and have very limited knowledge so your patience and expertise is greatly appreciated. L

How about providing some context for this question. By clear the check boxes, I assume you mean to un-check them which is the same as setting their value to 0.

"move the record to the first position" doesn't make much sense. Is the form continuous or datasheet view? Do you want the record to sort to the top of the records?

The only way that I can picture a record moving or sorting to the top is to set a value/field in the record that is either higher or lower than every other record in the record source of the form. This allows you to have the record source sorted by the field.
