Revise weekly group Default 1

I need to change the weekly group default
from sunday to saturday

to saturday to friday
within a specified report. is there a way to change this in the format options so that this is now defaulted permanently or is there something that needs to be done each time a report is created?

There is a formula for CR7 on the Seagate Software site:

that may be helpful...there were also some solutions for customizing weeks for version 5.
