Dear

we have problem aboat cdr. the Telcom provider pstn have been replaced central telcom. now with SIP provider trunk and be converted to analog line. Previouse used analog trunk and 16kz support. and now we have problem about cdr becaouse a central telcom used Reversal Polarity.

How way the pabx H4K V3 configure to reversal polarity..?
what differ 16kz and Reversal Polarity..?

Hi,
The 16KHz is a meter pulse sent from the provider exchange on an analog line to indicate that a unit has been used up.
These units are then collected and charged to a call.
The line reversal when it happens signal the end of a call.
Both of these functions are particular only to analog lines and are 2 different things, however line reversal can also be setup by the provider to happen when the call is answered again showing you that the 'metering' has to start for the cdr.

Can you talk with your new provider to see what they are providing ?

ok.. i have talk with provider man, he gave informartion that setup Reversal polarity..

how way configure reversal polarity in pabx siemens h4kv3..?

Hi,
It depends on the Analog trunk card you are using.
A lot of countries/territories do not use this so much any more and have moved to ISDN and/or SIP
You would need to get a REGEN file from a system that has this working or ask a colleague in your country for specific advice.
Update the loadware and system if possible as well.
The 16KHz will have a specific card and settings as will the line reversal.

If you're sure COP/COT is correct you'll probably find the answer in PTIME but you'll need the edoku to work your way through the it.
