Reverting Back to Old OS X 10.2.8

i'm using OS X 10.3.8...

i just found out that my Lexmark X5150 printer does not work with this version... so i want to revert back to 10.2.8 instead of buying a new printer...

how would i do this?
are there any problems/concerns i should have about reverting back?

Well, the biggest is that you will probably run into incompatibility problems with applications that are newer than 10.2.8.

Developers have to jump through extra hoops to make sure their applications run on older versions of the OS and probably won't consider Jaguar worth supporting now that it's two major releases behind the current.
