I have been a SDK user and fan for many years. About a year ago I "upgraded" from 98 to 99. In the process I was warned that once converted I could not use my userdata in version 98 anymore. Is there a fairly simple way to convert my files back to SDK 98? Thanks for your help. This is a great forum! SPCard

Reverting Back from SDK99 to SDK98

Dear SPCard,
All the Cardfiles can be opened in SK98 or even SK95 and even earlier if you Save as Sidekick 2 cardfiles (in the Save as dialogue.
The calendar should not loose anything though I am not as sure with the Internet events...
Write files are the same.
Basically follow the procedure for backing up all your Data and Files as described in:
faq807-2966
or faq807-3000
and then just open the Files from the File|Open dialogue in SK98.
That is the full SP(!) just about.
If you have any other questiond just post back.
