Hi
I have a problem with the “REVERT DN” on my meridian mail r 10 when it is set to the DN (the console LDN) of a OPT 11 across a PRI tie line. MM is on a option 11 r 24
After MM answers the call and “0” is pressed MM responds that “your call can not be completed at this time please try again latter”.
The voicemail otherwise appears to work normally.
We have another OPT 11 on another tie line that works correctly.
We set this up several months ago but only now tried to utilize the “REVERT DN” set to the DN across the tie line.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Chris

Mermail is hearing a "Fast Busy" or "Silence" when it says that. It is probably that the FRL of the Route List that processes calls over the PRI TIE is too high.

I would not raise MerMails NCOS to solve this.

Sounds like that DN isn't programmed as a permission in the restriction/permission list. Go to "Voice Administration" and then "Restriction/Permission Lists". Look at the lists you have there and add the DN as a permission to the appropriate lists.

I think RPL entries respond with "That number cannot be reached from this service"

Check the MerMail agent set programming from both sites, and see if there are any differences that would account for this, like CFXA/CFXD, FTTU, NCOS, TGAR.

Also compare the tie routes, and route member TNs from both sites and look up any differences.

I would also check the programming for 0 in the rls 24 option 11 to make sure it is routing over the PRI.

If you get stuck, please feel free to post any of the above printouts for people here to look at and comment on.

Thanks everyone for your help it was the permission list

Chris
