I am in the process of upgrading from 9.21 to 9.4 on a Unix box and I am a little gunshy. I was thinking I would upgrade Infomix then test and if things go badly or I dont get my testing done say over the weekend, then I could use the "revert" function described in the migration manual to get back to my current level in order to resume regular business until I could schedule additional testing time. I figure this would allow me to practice the actual upgrade process as well.

Has anyone ever done this and if so are there any gotchas or does anyone have any feedback on the subject at all?
