Reversing direction of a spiral/path 3

I am trying to drop an arrow on a spiral path but it goes from out to in, not in to out.... how do I reverse the direction so when I add the arrow or text it starts from the center???

For text going from the center of the spiral path, try this:
-make the spiral path and add desired text
-go to Type/Type on a path/Type on a path options...
-in the dialog box check Flip.
Text will change its direction.

Reversing path direction (this works on all types of paths): Activate the pen tool, then click once on the anchor that you want to make the end point.
