Using RM ver 7.00.03 I am having to double space my display and accept lines because the reverse lines run together on single line spacing. I have used underline as an alternative to create a seperator but prefer not to have visual differences on the others that stand by themselves. Is there 1 1/2 line spacing?

I am not aware of a display that has 1.5 line spacing.

From your other posts, I presume that this is on Windows, correct? I take it you are trying to achieve some sort of visual separation between text lines. Could you be a little more specific?

Yes, I am trying to create a visual seperation between lines

I am having to double space to keep my reverse boxes from merging into one block

Ahah, Screen Section...

The Screen Section is a legacy of the block mode terminals that existed many years ago. The screen section format has to maintain backward compatibility for all the legacy apps. Unfortunately, I cannot think of a way to achieve the type of visual separation that you desire other than double spacing as you are now doing or to abandon the use of reverse video.

You would have considerably more control over the look of your application by using the format 3 ACCEPT and the format 2 DISPLAY which accept/display individual data items rather than an entire screen. The downside is more more control requires more programming.

Other alternatives include RM/PANELS or, for a true GUI front end for your application, COBOL-WOW.

Sorry I can't be more helpful. [sad]
