Currently running Weblogic Express V8.1 on Windows Server 2003 on port 7001 with http.
Microsoft IIS6 also runs on this machine.
The business requirement is to expose applications served by weblogic to the internet (initially via http and then via https).
Implemented a reverse proxy configuration whereby IIS Websites (Running on the same machine as Weblogic - IIS6) are being exposed via reverse proxy and I'm using host headers to differentiate the different websites.
Example URLs for accesing applications on weblogic (via the LAN) are
I need to have these applications exposed via port 80 to enable access through the proxy server and firewall.
The idea is to install the IIS Plugin for weblogic according to the documentation, however I am not getting the redirection/proxy to weblogic when accessing the IIS Site (namely
