Does anyone have a functional reverse proxy for Activesync?

I was using Squid-3, which worked fine until we installed SP2 on the Exchange (2003) server. Squid (and most proxies) use HTTP 1.0. Exchange now sends chunked encoded responses to Squid's HTTP 1.0 requests, which is not permitted in HTTP 1.0. It appears MS has broken HTTP with SP2. Their tech support can only suggest we buy their IAS firewall system ($$$).

Squid has supposedly added a work-around MS's bug in the version 3 development tree, but I have not been able to get it to build on my old system.

I looked at Pound, but it does not support https to the back-end server, which MS says is required for Activesync.

Just wondering if anyone else has run in to this?
