Helo,
I am looking for a way to have sendmail do a reverse DNS lookup on all incoming mail. Ex.
MAIL FROM: user@abc.com
So the sendmail server verifies the domain against the incoming IP address of the connection.
Little more info---
This is a server in the DMZ relaying mail to an internal exchange server.
I accept mail for abc.com and have a mapping in the mailertable to forward abc.com to smtp[x.x.x.x]
In the future I will incoporate spam assasin and such but for now was just curious on the reverse dns lookup.
Thanks
