Hello.
I have data from 2007 to 1980.

Is it possible to chart the data from 1980 to 2007 (reverse the axis or something similar)

Thanks

The dates should default to low-to-high. If you want this reversed, then:

-Right click on the X axis.
-Select Format Axis.
-Go to the Scale tab.
-Check the box beside Dates in reverse order.

If your data doesn't default to low-to-high, you probably don't have the date column (in the source data) actually stored as numbers, but rather text. If this seems to be the case and you need help, post back.

Really love to help on this forum. But, please do a little bit of homework.

A simple "reverse" in the Help for Excel will yield the results you are looking for.

Hi,

If your axis is a CATEGORY axis, all you have to do is SORT the source data in a different order.

If the axis is a date-time axis, then you can select the axis , Format Seleted Axis - Scale tab and check - dates in reverse order.
