Reuters and snapping in VBA

Hi with Reuters 3000 Xtra there is an addin where by you can call a function RtUpdate this function can be updated by hitting the refresh snap button. I want to call refresh snap functionality from VBA code. In the first instance using Reuters calls, but worse case simulating hitting that button.

unfortunately this won't calculate the reuters function. Even

application.CalculateFullRebuild doesn't.

I couldn't find a Reuters forum so I tried this one...

even replacing = with = doesn't help

Put the function in your code, rather than on the sheet and assign the returned value to the appropriate cell. You can call it in a loop using DoEvents.

Do you not have any of the Reuters documentation?

From memory after working add-ins for 3000 Xtra it's quite extensive.
