Reuse html pages include them in other HTMLpages

Hi All,

I am developing a site and I would like to reuse Header and Footer in all the other html pages. I would like to include header.html and footer.html in the original html document. Please suggest a way to do this.

Remember I am working with only HTML documents.

Use SSI (Server Side Includes) to pull the header and footer text into your pages.

You could use javascript by including the javascript file in each html doc.

<script language="JavaScript" src="myheader.js"></script>

In myheader.js, code:

document.write('your header')

You could use javascript...

Though be warned that some visitors and most search engine spiders won't see the resulting text (as they have JS switched off). If it's your navigation menu then they won't be able to get around your site.
