I have noticed that I am not the only one who was smashing their head to try to determine why my reports were returning to the default print settings. Just 2 questions though.

1. I had a pre-existing database that is shared on a networked drive. I did the quick fix by disabling "Name AutoCorrect", but when I went to another computer on the network and tried to open the report from there, the report still re-set to the default settings. Am I doing something wrong?

2. Will the patch from Microsoft apply to my pre-existing database and not the other users on the network? In other words, does the patch repair the actual database for all users or does the patch repair just each individual Office 2000 program on each computer?

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks:)

1) Did you do the "quick fix" on EVERY computer running the db or just yours? You need to do it on all computers.

2) The patch repairs it for each individual computer. IE: you have to install it on every machine that will use the db.
