Hello,

I was wondering if you could tell me how to return the day of the week on an Excel 97 spreadsheet.

For example I have a column with the actual dates for the next few months, as in:
30/06/05
01/07/05
...........etc

I would like to see something like this:
Thursday 30/06
Friday 01/07
...........etc

Any help would be greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

Why don't you just format them as
dddd dd/mm

using Custom Format. Menu command Format/Cells/Number/Custom, and type the format into the input box.

Cheers, Glenn.

Hi,

Just a simple FORMAT...
