How do I create a calculated member that returns the first (or last) day in a time set? Fo example, if I had drilled down to [Time].[2001].[Q1] I would want to return the value 1/1/2001 (or 3/31/2001 if I was looking for last).

The leaf member in Time dimension is Day, but every day on the calender does NOT have a corresponding day in the database.

Thanks in advance...

First day:
[Time].[2001].[Q1].FirstChild.FirstChild.FirstChild

Last day:
[Time].[2001].[Q1].LastChild.LastChild.LastChild

note: I suppose you time dimension hierarchy is
[year].[quarter].[month].[week].[day]
