returning calls from 5340 'call hist' app fails

Hi there,

on a Mitel running 8.0.7.16_2 (which I think is UR1), I switched some 5340s from the 'call history' feature, to the full screen 'call history' application, which is much nicer.

But, trying to return calls is failing.
I think we're missing the 9 prefix for an outside line.

But, in 'System Options Assignment' we do have '9' in 'Outgoing external call prefix for apps'.

Any ideas if this is a bug/fixed in newer builds or what I've missed.

Hi Neal,

If your on PRI you can add the 9 into the incoming digits field this will make the call history dial 9 outbound. You can add this in at the Inward Dialling Configuration.

hmm, wasn't sure if prefixing the 9 in ' Inward Dialling Configuration' might cause us issues with YourAssistant or Integrated Office Companion (as they might not then recognise incoming numbers), but it is a good option.

However, this site is on SIP trunks, so I don't have the option of 'Inward Dialling Configuration' as far as I can see.

The call history feature, correctly uses the value from 'Outgoing external call prefix for apps' in 'System Options Assignment', it is just the 'Call History' application which does not, so I guess that is a bug?
