Returning 0 value while using getmenu api for Microsoft Word

Hi all
Here i m facing one problem, i want to get handle to menu of microsoft word. I got the handle to word but its returing zero value with getmwnu api. Is this is a wrong way i m going to get the menu and there sub items or should i add something into same code that it gives me proper output. Please help me in this.
