Hi all:

Is there a way to programatically tell when an e-mail has been returned in Outlook? I would need to pull the original recipient's address, time and date returned, and original subject line.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Chris:

I'd actually be doing this in VB6; however, I've found when it comes to Outlook, I get the best answers in the VBA section.

I'm using Outlook 2000.

Thanks,

Ron,

I've done somthing similar in the past.
I used a timer to check said mailbox at preset intervals and moved the mail to another folder when checked.

I've never found a hook for the NewMail event.

You could try It's a very good site for Outlook related issues, and have links to dedicated Outlook forums such as
