Is it possible to obtain the return value from an
external process spawned using the Aspect run command ?

I'm developing an Aspect script on Win2000 Professional
that calls a Perl script to do some work. I'd like the
Aspect script to have visibility to the exit status of my
Perl code.

Unfortunately, I'm not aware of a clean way to do this. If you can set environment variables in your Perl script, you could write the exit code to an environment variable that your script could use the getenv command to read. Another possible option would be to write the result code to a text file that your script could access. If Perl supports DDE, you could use that to share information between your script and the Perl script.
