My company uses Outlook. The network people have grayed out my ability to "never send a response”.
This aggravates me to no end. I have a view that shows me when a user has requested a receipt and I can auto preview and respond in a different e-mail. That way they only get an e-mail saying "deleted without being read".
What I'm looking for is something I can do to delete the outgoing receipt or never send it.
Anyone have a macro or something that will accomplish this?

Thanks

There is a product called "Watch Your Back" by Grinning Shark Software. You can download it at
I tried it about a year ago. I recall that I could either remove the read receipts from the message or blast the sender with a dozen of read receipts. I never tried blasting someone with read receipts. I am the e-mail administrator and if I did that, people would end up calling me to tell me that their Outlook is acting up.

Have fun!

It's great. Just what I was looking for. Thank you.
