When I send emails from VBA, I use usernames, e.g. iainr. When the email arrives it is from Iain Robertson. Is there a way I can I use the username to return the full name for a user so that I can use this somewhere else?
Somebody may know a way round this but the OMG in Outlook 2000 SP2 and later explicitly disallows programmatic access to user information so I suspect the answer is no.
Enjoy,
Tony
