Hi,

I'm using Crystal report 10 and Crytsal Enterprsie to schedule my Crystal reports. When I export my reports to Excel, where I have placed a return in the headers of my Crystal report, I am seeing a vertical line in it's place e.g. One of my header is Credit Sales Value. It should appear on the report as:-

Credit Sales
Value

but is showing as:-

Credit Sales|Value

Does anyone have any idea how I can stop this happeneing?

Thanks,

Becky

When I exported, I did not see a vertical line, so I cannot address that, but there were two methods that resulted in a return being exported:

1) Create the header as text in a text box.

2) Create the header as a formula using chr(10) (line feed) instead of chr(13), and then place the formula in a text box:

"Credit Sales" + chr(10)+"Value"

When I did this, there was an extra space before "Value", so I added an extra space to the first line " Credit Sales" to compensate.

Thanks lbass.

I've tried both methods but I still get the same result.
When I double click on the cell in the spreadsheet, it formats itself and actually put the carriage return in there. It's very strange.

My reports were formatted without any problems - I used a Crytsal Enterprise patch last week so I'm wondering now if this has caused the problem.

Has anyone else had this problem and managed to resolve it?
